Step by Step Instructions on Removing a Side Mirror
In this “how to” video by Lisa Herve at Pic N Save, Lisa demonstrates how easy it is to remove your own used auto parts at a self-serve yard. Today, Lisa is removing a mirror from a 1998 Acura.
- You will start by removing the plastic piece Lisa points out
- You can use either a flat head screwdriver or a crowfoot
- It should pop off very easily
- Make sure you have a container for all your bolts
- Next you will need an 8mm socket and a 10mm socket for the four bolts attached to the mirror
- She uses the 10mm for the bigger bolt
- The wire she removes is for the power mirror
- You push the button and it helps you adjust the mirror
- You may need to use plyers to pinch the top and bottom
- It should pop right off
